APRIL 2025
LABOUR OF LOVE
BY JAMES GRAHAM
British Labour MP David Lyons cares about modernisation and "electability"... his constituency agent, Jean Whittaker cares about principles and her community.
Set away from the Westminster bubble in the party's traditional northern heartlands, this is a hilarious clash of philosophy, culture and class against the backdrop of the Labour Party over 25 years as it moves from Kinnock through Blair into Corbyn... and beyond?

Neighbourhood Watch
80-year-old Hungarian-Australian refugee Ana lives in an Australian neighbourhood with her wartime memories and aggressive dog. She clashes with some neighbours, but befriends one, young actor Catherine, who is also haunted by the past. Life lessons come for each from a poignant mutual dependence.
In an often funny, at times suspenseful and dreamlike story with almost 30 characters, we move from 2007 Australia to Hungary’s dangerous, WWII past and back again.
